Black-Owned Fashion Label ‘Pinkxolips’ Sees New Growth After Outfitting Celebrities

Nationwide — Pinkxolips, a Black-owned fashion brand, has amassed over 21,000 followers on Instagram while experiencing exponential sales growth after trend-setting celebrities spotted wearing the company’s fur-slides and apparel on TV.

Pinkxolips is a fashion boutique that specializes in fashion-forward furs, slides, clothing, shoes, and accessories. The brand has announced the expansion of its fashion line after an outpouring of interest and increased sales resulting from a number of celebrities being spotted wearing a number of their items, but primarily their real fur slides that are a popular urban trend they’re rising to meet the demand of.

Celebrity names outfitted by the brand include Karrueche Tran from the TNT series Claws, Wild ‘N Out’s Lovely Mimi, Love & Hip Hop’s Amara LaNegra, Fantasia Barrino and performer Lil’ Mo among a number of others.

Owner and CEO Kiea Hutty explains her decision to expand the brand into a full, public-facing clothing line, stating: “The amount of attention and demand for Pinkxolips’ items has been incredibly humbling. We’ve always maintained that if you prioritize creating beautiful things that are of a high-quality without sacrificing comfort, success will follow. We’re rising to meet this new demand by those wanting to support Black business by giving our new clients more chances to express themselves in an authentic and fashion-forward way.”

The brand’s featured collections include the Sky Camo Parka, the Mikaela fur jacket made of 100% real fur, and the Akasha fur jacket also containing 100% real fox fur. The online store carries an array of items for women, men, and toddlers and offers their women’s footwear up to size 12 to accommodate as many sizes as possible. All footwear is made of 100% real fur.
