LPL Financial says it severed ties with a financial advisor accused of allegedly saying she did not want to interview Black candidates for a job in her independent advisory practice because her clientele is overwhelmingly white.
The firm’s action comes more than a week after the accusations were made against Texas-based advisor Eileen Cure on social media platform TikTok by user Denise Bradley, who posted what she said were Skype group messages Cure sent to staff.
