In addition, the season will highlight the talents of several OKC Philharmonic musicians, as well as other esteemed local performers, as featured soloists.
The Pops season also has been slightly modified, but will continue to offer a wide range of entertaining programs.
“We are thrilled to present this ‘(re)IMAGINE(d)’ season that allows us to bring our community a much needed musical reprieve, as we continue to live in the era of COVID-19.” says OKC Philharmonic Executive Director Agnieszka Rakhmatullaev in a statement. “As one of the flagship arts organizations elevating the quality of life in our community, the OKCPHIL board, staff, and musicians, with the support of our loyal patrons have been working together proactively to explore new paths and platforms to continue our presence in the community. Together, we can set our sights on the Oct. 17 season opening concert, when we hope to gather together in a responsible way to experience great orchestral music once again.”
