Matteson, IL — Meet Calvin and Ro’Shunda Russell, founders of Park Place Realty Group, LLC, a Black-owned real estate brokerage that is helping families qualify for homeownership.

The self-taught duo, who launched the company earlier this year, was able to purchase their first income property at twenty-five years old. In addition, they have been real estate investors and credit specialists since 2012 when they started a FICO Certified led credit consulting company. With that in mind, the new venture’s purpose is to make everything in the homeownership process easier and more efficient.

“It was a natural transition for us to join the ranks within the real estate market,” says Calvin. “Most people seeking assistance towards improving their credit, do so with the purpose of wanting to make large investments such as purchasing a home.”

To encourage homeownership during the holidays, their family-owned company created a campaign called “Home for the Holidays”. The campaign, exclusively through Park Place and customized specifically for Illinois residents, is designed to motivate people to own and to choose homeownership with the company, but at the very minimum, provide those clients with the tools necessary to achieve those goals.

“Park Place Realty Group, LLC is a Black-owned, family-focused firm where our goal is to serve as your guide down the avenue of homeownership,” says Ro’Shunda. “Whether it is when you begin to search for your new home or when you receive those keys, we will be there with you every step of the way.”
