This information comes under the heading, “Spring can’t get here quick enough,” especially if you’re a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Officials with the Cardinals announced Wednesday that tickets will go on sale Friday for the 26th annual Cardinal Winter Warm-Up in January.

The 2022 Winter Warm-Up takes place Saturday through Monday, January 15-17.

In the interest of fan safety, this year’s WWU will take place at the much more spacious Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village.

The Winter Warm-Up is the largest fundraiser for Cardinals Care, the ball club’s charitable foundation.

Along with the usual array of present and former Cardinal players, the Winter Warm-Up features three days of entertainment, vendors, activities, self-guided tours of the Cardinals Clubhouse and admission to the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum.

According to Michael Hall, Vice President of Community Relations and Executive Director of Cardinals Care, “The Winter Warm-Up is the perfect opportunity for our passionate fans to kickoff the baseball season and meet their favorite players, past and current, and hear from front office leadership about the upcoming season, all while helping kids here in our community.”

You can purchase tickets for the 2022 Winter Warm-Up starting Friday by going to cardinals.com/WWU.

And, in case you’re wondering, there’s been no word yet on the 2022 Cardinal Caravan, which usually happens the same weekend as the Winter Warm-Up. We will keep you posted.
