As the UK Black Business week ends this week, the 7-day line-up of events aimed at unifying black professionals and entrepreneurs to create space to nurture talent has a big round-up this Saturday with the UK Black business show event.
Taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, North London. The Show will address complex topics by opening people’s hearts and minds to new ideas and ways of thinking and creating prospects for those attending to acquire knowledge and grow. The event also aims to inspire the black community to imprint positively on the economy, their wider community, and the world.
Speaks for the Saturday show include black people well-established in their fields, such as Levi Roots, Trevor Nelson MBE, Chanté Joseph Lorraine Wright MBE and more.
Through the UK Black Business Show, creating an optimistic, confident, and progressive dome for black businesses to come together. The Show will aid those participating in making meaningful relationships, facilitating a platform that creates space for presentation, growth, and progress for Black people in their field.
Alvin Owusu co-founder of Tag Agency, a youth culture agency transforming lives through community, culture, and stories, told the voice how events are needed to celebrate our contributions and collectively progress. “Black businesses get a hard time, especially on social media; the scrutiny is disproportionate, and it’s good to see Black business being celebrated now.”
He adds: “The more that they’re celebrated and amplified, the more that people will spend money on Black businesses and keep the Black pound within our community.”
UK Black Business Show is having their Show at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper St, Islington, London N1 0QH, from 9 am-6 pm.
